“God is love.” So what?

Have you ever felt dry and empty, unable to drink in the love of God, or to let it pour through you to others? Driven instead to idolatrous relationships and addictions that never satisfy?

Created in the image of a God who defines Himself as love, we long for deep relationship. Soul-satisfying authentic community, with God and with others, is the focus of the law of the universe: “Love God, love others.” So it makes sense that the attacks of Satan would center on breaking the power of healing community, first with God, and second with others.

Wouldn’t it make sense, then, that all righteousness is rooted in knowing and believing the true character of a God of love? In connecting deeply with God through Bible study and prayer, so that His love can flow into us and through us into authentic community with others?

Heart Thirst Ministries is about helping thirsty hearts drink in the healing, transforming love of God. We hope you will be blessed by His message of love through us.
